It doesnt matter if a teacher is not organized.注意句型 it matters +(to sb.)+if 從句(wh-從句) (對(duì)某人而言)是重要的 eg:If matters little if I miss my bus. 即使我沒(méi)搭上公共汽車也沒(méi)什么大不了的。It doesnt matter to me whether she is pleased or not. 他滿意與否對(duì)我而言并不重要。3. She avoids making you feel stupid.avoid vt. 避免

GrammarVerbs followed by ing 動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)的用法動(dòng)名詞是由動(dòng)詞加上-ing 構(gòu)成的,在句中作主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)和定語(yǔ),其中作賓語(yǔ)的情況最復(fù)雜,也最重要,是本單元的重點(diǎn)。這里將其用法分幾種情況加以講解:(1)只能接動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)的動(dòng)詞:admit, a
8、void, consider, finish, excuse, enjoy, mind, imagine, permit, miss, risk, practise, suggest, dislike, escape, appreciate, forgive, keep, advise 等。例句:The boy admitted being careless. 這個(gè)孩子承認(rèn)他太大意了。Mary is considering going abroad. 瑪麗正在考慮出國(guó)。He really appreciates having time to relax. 有空休息一下,他真高興。(2)下列動(dòng)詞
9、既可接動(dòng)名詞又可接不定式作賓語(yǔ),含義基本相同:begin, start, continue, propose 等例句:Then we began making/ to make plans for the work. 然后我們開(kāi)始制定工作計(jì)劃。I propose making/ to make a change in the plan. 我建議把計(jì)劃作一些改動(dòng)。(3)like, love, hate, prefer 等動(dòng)詞后可接動(dòng)名詞或不定式,但有區(qū)別。后接動(dòng)名詞時(shí),表示習(xí)慣性的、一般性的動(dòng)作,接不定式,通常表示某一次的,具體的動(dòng)作。例句:I prefer watching TV to goi
10、ng to the cinema.I prefer to watch TV rather than go to the cinema tonight.(4)stop, try, regret 等動(dòng)詞后接動(dòng)名詞和不定式意義有區(qū)別。例句:She stopped writing the letter. 停止寫(xiě)信She stopped to write the letter. 停下來(lái)去寫(xiě)信The doctors tried to save her life. 盡力救The doctors tried talking in English. 嘗試用英語(yǔ)交談(5)need, require, want 做
