1、 Unit 9 Have you ever been to Singapore?(Reading) 一. 課時分析 本課時通過學習閱讀材料“Have you ever been to Singapore”,掌握閱讀策略(即在閱讀完后學生寫下自己學到的東西),并增進學生對世界上其他國家的了解。 二. 學情分析 學生在八年級下冊Unit3和Unit9 Section A、Section B已經(jīng)學習并掌握了現(xiàn)在完成時的用法。本課時將學習閱讀關于新加坡的風土人情。通過讀說寫技能訓練,給學生提供更多語言輸入和輸出的機會,更好地學習并運用閱讀策略。 三. 學習目標 1. 語言技能目標:

2、能聽懂教師對有關文章的提問,能在教師的幫助引導下順利完成對長篇閱讀材料的理解,并用自己的語言表達已學到的知識。 2. 語言知識目標:1)詞匯:a)四會詞匯:wonderful, holiday, quarter, population, fear, brave, excellent, Indian, dark, wake, fox, natural, environment, temperature, whenever, spring, autumn, season, awake. b)三會詞匯:southeast, simply, daytime, equator, type.

3、 2)句型:Have you ever been to Singapore? It’s a wonderful place to take a holiday. 3. 情感目標:能讓學生通過對閱讀材料的學習,了解其他國家的不同特色,拓寬知識面。 四.重難點 教學重點:通過教師根據(jù)文章大意整理出來的脈絡圖,讓學生用自己的話表達已學到的三點或更多的知識。 教學難點:如何幫助學生用自己的語言或文章中的好句寫下自己學到的東西。 教學設計: Step1. Warming up & Presentation 1.Free

11、tural adj. season autumn whenever Unit 9 Have you ever been to Singapore?(Reading) 教學反思 八年級英語課堂教研討會暨送教下鄉(xiāng)活動在健跳中學展開。我很榮幸能和另外三位老師在這次活動中向同行們展示自己的課堂教學過程。在這短短一天中,我學到了很多,也深刻意識到自己在備課、課堂教學過程中存在諸多缺點。現(xiàn)作反思如下: 一、成功之處: 1.備課之前,跟讀錄音熟悉文本,花大量時間、精力“吃透”文本,對教學目標定位的準確性起到了很大的作用。 2.

12、備課中,緊緊圍繞教學目標層層展開教學步驟;各個環(huán)節(jié)設計形式多樣,避免課堂教學過程枯燥乏味。 3.教學過程中詞匯教學重難點突出,呈現(xiàn)方式多樣;環(huán)節(jié)之間的過渡語簡潔明了,隨時關注學生的學習情況,改變提問方式。 二、不足之處: 1.Fast reading這一環(huán)節(jié)中,自然段與要點的連線過于繁雜,實際上第一自然段主要是關于languages,第四自然段關于weather,這樣更加簡單清晰。 2.精讀中,對第一段講解時,我提問“What’s the population?”,這個問句針對不明確,不合理。換成“How many Chinese are there in Singapore?”可能比

13、較妥當。 3.在第二段關于food in Singapore中,我無法幫助學生很好理解“Indian food”。說明我備課前準備工作還是不夠充分,沒有花時間去查找關于新加坡的風土人情,對這個國家的了解只局限于課文知識。究其原因,還是我自己平時過于自負,考慮事情不夠周全。 4. 5個重點詞匯教學中,對“fear”的呈現(xiàn),其實我的手勢表情可以夸張些,讓學生一看我動作神態(tài)就能猜測詞義??梢娫谡n堂上,我還是沒有完全放開。 5.在After reading中,我通過課文3a, 3b和3c的練習,然后讓學生用自己的語言表達這堂課中已學的知識即“A guide to Singapore”。在這個環(huán)節(jié)

14、中,我其實可以省略課文中3a至3c的練習或把它們作為課后作業(yè),從而留出更多的時間在“A guide to Singapore”,使得目標的達成更明顯有效。 三、結(jié)束語 “吃一塹,長一智”,今天的反思就是明天的進步。向同行學習,向優(yōu)秀的前輩學習,向外籍教師Justin學習?!鞍氤吒皖^,更進一步”,我相信自己,可以走得更遠。 Unit 9 Have you ever been to Singapore? Class_____________ Name____________ I. Read each paragraph careful
