16、 (1)獨立主格結構的邏輯主語與句子的主語不同,它獨立存在 (2)名詞或代詞與后面的分詞,形容詞,副詞,不定式,介詞短語等是主謂關系 (3)獨立主格結構一般有逗號與主句隔開 (4)獨立主格結構可以改為狀語從句,并列句或分詞短語結構 獨立主格結構構成: 名詞\主格代詞+現(xiàn)在分詞Time permitting, we can finish the work. 名詞\主格代詞+過去分詞All things considered, her suggestion is of greater value than yours. 名詞\主格代詞+不定式The teacher to help

He talks as if he is drunk. as if 從句用虛擬語氣的情況。 當說話人認為句子所述的是不真實的或極少有可能發(fā)生或存在的情況時。從句虛擬語氣動詞時態(tài)的形式如下: 1). 如果從句表示與現(xiàn)在事實相反,謂語動詞用一般過去時。 You look as if you didn’ t care. He talks as if he knew where she was 2)從句表示與過去事實相反,謂語動詞用“had+過去

20、分詞”。 He talks about Rome as if he had been there before. The girl listened as if she had been turned to stone. 要點詞匯 1. series n 系列,叢書a series of car accidents watch the television series a series of作主語時,謂語用單數(shù) two/three series of作主語時,謂語用復數(shù) 小結: 單復同形的單詞:means(方式),crossroads(十字路口),species(種類
