★“介詞+關系代詞”引導定語從句
關系代詞在定語從句中作介詞賓語時,從句常由“介詞+關系代詞”引導。介詞后的關系代詞主要是which和whom,間或是whose,但不能是that。有時,介詞前可有數(shù)詞、代詞、形容詞比較級或最高級修飾。

★ 限制性和非限制性定語從句
限制性定語從句是先行詞不可缺少的修飾部分,去掉它主句意思往往不明確;非限制性定語從句用來對主句內(nèi)容作補充、解釋或附加說明,和主句的關系不十分密切,沒有它,主句意思仍然完整。非限制性定語從句和主
13、句之間往往用逗號分開。注意:關系代詞that不能引導非限制性定語從句;在非限制性定語從句中即使關系代詞which, whom在從句中作賓語,也不能省略。
