______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Module 1 My First Day at Senior High 一、教材研究 本模塊的中心話題是“一位高中新生到新學校的一天”,具體介紹高中新生第一天到校觀察和接觸到的人和事物及個人的感受,內(nèi)容緊密結合學生現(xiàn)實生活。本節(jié)課著重培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀能力。通過文章的閱讀學習,培養(yǎng)學生熱愛新學校、新班級和新同學的感情,鼓勵學生參與各種英語活動,克服困難。本模塊的內(nèi)容主要有:課時1:銜接初中科目,并比較初高中的不同點。課時2:閱讀李康的高中第一天。課時3:閱讀文知識點學習。課時4:語法1,2,學習一般現(xiàn)在時,現(xiàn)在進行時和以ing和ed結尾的形容詞。課時5:聽力部分的新單詞和文化角的閱讀。課時6:寫作,寫一篇關于自己學校的文章。 二、學情研究 自己一直參與英語課題研究,以及對新課標的學習,教學方法有了一定的改進,比較重視課堂上以學生為主體的形式,但總感覺在單詞教學環(huán)節(jié)上還比較被動。由于高一新生在每個初中的英語學習程度參差不齊,為了滿足不同學生的發(fā)展需求,我改變了以往以習題、聽寫為主的復習方法,提前布置任務讓學生預先用自主學習單預習,盡量多的使用本模塊詞匯編寫小故事,基礎差一些的學生可以說句子或組短語,在自主的選擇和練習中達到了復習的目的,分層次的布置任務也照顧到全體同學,同學們描述自己的高中第一天,每個人都能用到10個以上的本模塊詞匯,效果很好。這也是本課設計的閃光點之一。 Period 1 Introduction 一、目標點擊: A級目標 (1)復習和學科有關的單詞:biology, chemistry, history,English, Japanese, geography, Russian, IT, Chinese, mathematics, physics, PE (2)掌握并記憶本課的重點詞匯和短語: academic, enthusiastic, amazing, information, attitude, behavior, comprehension, handwriting, instruction, method, photograph, spelling, textbook (3).詞組:be similar to, one’s attitude to/towards B級目標: 1.復習和學科有關的單詞:biology, chemistry, history,English, Japanese, geography, Russian, IT, Chinese, mathematics, physics, PE 2.會讀新單詞 二:重點難點 (1)學習和掌握本課生詞 (2)多層次的訓練閱讀能力,提高閱讀水平 三:拓展鏈接 初中時學生已經(jīng)學過各個學科名,現(xiàn)在結合初中熟悉的知識點來學習高中各學科教師的特點。 四、學法研究 Step1. 檢查學生的預習情況 老師先叫個別學生來讀新單詞,學生讀的時候進行糾正,在帶讀兩遍。然后學生小組合作,你讀給我聽,我讀給你聽。利用這種形式,讓學生的單詞過關。 Step2.課堂導入 Ask a question “ What is your first impression of our school?” 設計意圖:交際法。利用這個題目導進新課。同時老師與學生之間進行了對學校第一印象和看法的交流。既起到了課堂熱身的作用、導進了新課,又加強了師生和生生之間的交流。Step 3. 課堂講授 Step4 Self-introduction (I) (some drills need to be written on the black board)【來源:21·世紀·教育·網(wǎng)】 My name is …… I am a …… I was born on/in …… I graduated from …… In my spare time, I like/ am good at / am fond of ……21·世紀*教育網(wǎng) I hope/ think/ want …… …… (II) Get the students to introduce themselves to their partners in groups of four, and then ask some volunteers to introduce their new friends to all the other students in English. Summary 小結本課內(nèi)容,并讓學生當堂背誦今天所學的新單詞。 五、個體特需 有些學生基礎較差,只要求他們把學科名字學會。 六、教學反思: 七、自主學習單(附另頁) Period 2 Reading Comprehension 一、目標點擊: 1. 記住本課的重點詞匯和短語:website, brilliant, bored, embarrassed, previous, description, amazed, embarrassing, technology, impress 2. 詞組:far from, nothing like, have fun, in other words, hard-working, look forward to … 3. 培養(yǎng)學生的閱讀能力,訓練學生閱讀速度,查讀的閱讀技巧;訓練學生學會找主題句,歸納文章主旨,運用想象,聯(lián)想,學會用英語思考的能力? 4. 熟讀課文,知道課文的中文意思 二、重點難點 (1)鼓勵學生通過回答問題來學習本課生詞 (2)多層次的訓練學生的閱讀能力,提高閱讀水平 (3)理解閱讀的內(nèi)容。 三、拓展銜接 結合自己高中開學第一天的情景,對課本的內(nèi)容加以理解。 4、 學法研究 Step1. 檢查學生復習和預習情況。 Step 2 Pre-reading Ask the Ss to discuss the questions in Activity 1 on page 2 in pairs and show their answers. Then get them to practice Activity 2. Check the answers with the whole class. Step 3 prediction (對課文內(nèi)容的猜測)教學時間:2m According to the title of the text “My First Day at Senior High”, have Ss predict what the text talks about, and check the answer after fast reading. 設計意圖:根據(jù)標題培養(yǎng)學生閱讀技能即對文章內(nèi)容的猜測。通過這一活動幫助學生利用已經(jīng)把握的知識和手段,預先推知和判定文章的內(nèi)容。然后通過閱讀找出作者所寫的內(nèi)容,由學生自己思考、檢查與對比,看文章的內(nèi)容與學生所給出的之間的異同點,并分析其原因。這樣既可促進學生的想象,也可促進學生的閱讀。 Step4 Fast reading(泛讀)教學時間:10m 1 . Paragraph 2 B: Self-introduction Paragraph 3 C: What we do in our English class Paragraph 4 D: The students in our class Paragraph 5 E: The students’ attitude to Ms Shen Paragraph 6 F: Something about my school 設計意圖:任務型和活動型教學法 任務1:先獨自快速限時(3minutes)閱讀,把閱讀課文作為整體來處理,檢查學生對課文中的事實的表層理解,讓學生對文章有一個了解。然后通過小組活動,交流合作。本環(huán)節(jié)難度不高,即便學困生也能在其小組成員的幫助下完成此任務。成功給人以最大的滿足,產(chǎn)生自豪感,增強學習毅力。更重要的是總結出他們在閱讀中所用的方法——略讀(skimming to get general ideas) Step5 Careful reading(精讀)27m 1. read the text carefully and choose the best answers. 1. Careful reading(17m) Mind Mapping After doing this, can you try to retell the text? 設計意圖:小組活動 任務1:任務型和活動型教學法。在快速閱讀環(huán)節(jié)對課文表層理解的基礎上,進行段落內(nèi)容的理解和劃分,幫助學生在腦中形成MIND-MAP來熟悉文章的結構,理清文章的總體內(nèi)容和結構特點并鍛煉了學生對細節(jié)信息尋找和概括的能力,此處對學生是有挑戰(zhàn)性的。然后同組的學生互相討論,分工合作,交流意見,得出結果。 任務2:任務型教學法。通過表格的填充,對文章有一個更為深進的了解。完成相對信息的細節(jié)處理。學生只需對照課文就可輕松填寫表格,由于此任務較輕易此處不再做小組活動。回答題目采用搶答的方法。而且任務2之后時間答應的情況下嘗試讓學生已看著任務2的圖示復述課文的主要內(nèi)容,讓學生能夠感覺到這種學習策略的實效性。 2 Step6 Post-reading Choose the answers with the same meaning as the sentences from the text (Part 4 P3) 1.
