The caving hydraulic support is one of the most indispensable support equipment in the full mechanization coal mining face. Its performance will impact the safety of the comprehensive mechanization coal mining face and the staff.This paper has introduced requirement, type, working principle, characteristic, purpose and the structure of laying down top coal hydraulic support, for screening type Low caving coal hydraulic support have made detailed analysis and introduction, have narrated use and the scheme of this kind of support.
