1. 能聽懂、讀懂關(guān)于學(xué)校與課程、城市、節(jié)日等話題的信息。
2. 復(fù)習(xí)并鞏固第1-3單元的內(nèi)容。
3. 練習(xí)并熟悉一些常見習(xí)語的搭配。
二、教學(xué)建議
1. Discuss questions about school in groups.談一談。
Step 1 老師通過提問Which school do you go to? Which class are you in? 與學(xué)生自由交談，復(fù)習(xí)有關(guān)school life的相關(guān)內(nèi)容。
Step 2學(xué)生打開課本到第26頁，根據(jù)課本的10個(gè)問題開展兩人小組活動(dòng)，并仿照方框里的文本談?wù)撟约旱男@生活。
Step 3老師選出2-3組進(jìn)行展示，并給予適時(shí)指導(dǎo)和評價(jià)。
2．Read the words. Then circle in matching colours.讀一讀，圈一圈。
Step l 全班進(jìn)行頭腦風(fēng)暴游戲：如老師說出subject，學(xué)生說出相關(guān)科目單詞，以此類推。
Step 2學(xué)生打開課本到第26頁，觀察題目，弄清題意，完成練習(xí)。
Step 3師生共同核對答案，并請做對的同學(xué)說出理由。

Step 6 學(xué)生在老師的引導(dǎo)下，嘗試描述Today’s Wuhan和Yesterday’s Wuhan或其他城市，并選出若干學(xué)生進(jìn)行展示，老師給予指導(dǎo)和評價(jià)。

I live in Shenzhen, a city by the sea. It is clean and beautiful. It is also a busy city. There are many tall buildings in the city. Kingkey 100 is the tallest. It is over 440 metres high. I love my home city!
But more than 30 years ago, it was a very small town. There were only some small shops in the streets. There were not any tall buildings. Most people were fishermen. Life was hard at that time.
